The Galway Route Accessibility (BGRA) project formed a significant element of Iarnród Éireann’s programme to make all stations accessible to mobility and sensory impaired customers. This programme is to ensure compliance with the Disability Bill 2004.
Among the work carried out by King and Moffatt were new SER (Station Equipment Room), new Station Switch rooms, Sub-distribution boards and Lighting and Emergency lighting to station buildings.
