Tullamore Station Upgrade

Tullamore Station Upgrade

The Galway Route Accessibility (BGRA) project formed a significant element of Iarnród Éireann’s programme to make all stations accessible to mobility and sensory impaired customers. This programme is to ensure compliance with the Disability Bill 2004. Among the work carried out by King and Moffatt were new SER (Station Equipment Room), new Station Switch rooms, Sub-distribution boards and Lighting and Emergency lighting to station buildings.

Midlands Prison Extension

The extension to Midlands Prison Portlaoise marked a significant step in the ongoing prison modernisation programme. The project consists of an additional cell block which provided accommodation for approximately 350 prisoners, catering facilities, additional educational, recreational and training facilities.
