King and Moffatt are thoroughly enjoying this Level 2 BIM project in the UK using Conject as the CDE. We have a fully coordinated model between a number of disciplines (Architect, Structural, Mechanical, Refrigeration, Sprinkler, white box insulated Ceiling) and after a month of model coordination every area completed to date has been clash free with zero rework required.
We are including 3D views and sections for any tricky areas with the other models visible in these views to show why the services need to be installed this way and are finding BIM an invaluable tool once every discipline are using it for the duration of a project.
