Electrical Design Engineer (UK)

Due to phenomenal growth, we are looking to add an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join one of the UK’s fastest growing M&E Building Services companies. King and Moffatt has successfully delivered multiple large scale projects in the UK & multiple locations in Europe. This Electrical Design Engineer role is joining an experienced team in a very fast paced environment. We pride ourselves on being a full building services solutions provider.
King and Moffatt has a vast portfolio of projects in the following sectors: industrial, commercial, pharmaceutical, food processing, logistics distribution centres.
The candidate is required to develop and deliver electrical designs to facilitate the safe and compliant install on site. MV & LV Distribution, Cable Containment / Transport Systems, Small Power, General & Emergency Lighting, Data, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, Fire Alarm.
The candidate must have a minimum of three years experience in the Electrical Design Engineering field.

Requirements:
· Deep knowledge of CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN, Irish and UK standards
· Designing in conjunction with fire certs, disability access certs & planning permission report
· Attendance design team meetings
· Carrying out site surveys of existing installations
· Production of stage reports & presentations
· Detailing electrical schematics for build

Mechanical Contracts Manager (UK)

King and Moffatt have a vast portfolio of projects in the following sectors: industrial, commercial, pharmaceutical, food processing, logistics distribution centres.
Ultimate responsibility for the delivery of their projects in line with K&M policies, procedures, EHSQ and financial targets. This Mechanical Contracts Manager role reports to the Operations Manager.  This is both office and site-based as site rotation is necessary to support project requirements. The role is based in the Midlands and or West Midlands.

• Attend tender handover and project start up meetings.
• Become familiar with all details and specifications of the contract.
• Set up for each project an email distribution list.
• Ensure full team understand role with regards the project and manage team and any issues.

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer based in the midlands at one of our client sites. This role is predominantly site and office based. It is a full time permanent role.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Become familiar with all the project details, design and specifications.
• Collate technical submittals as detailed by the Contracts/Project Manager and manage this process.
• Collaborate with Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Design and QS on updating the progress report.
• Raising RFI’s
• Keep RFI schedule up to date.
• Follow up on orders of long lead plant items.
• Ensure latest revisions of drawings are being worked on site.
• Redline drawings with as build information and issue to design.
• Monitor compliance of Sub Contractors.

Pipefitter (Ireland)

King and Moffatt Offsite based on the Boyle Road in Carrick on Shannon, Co Leitrim.   King and Moffatt has successfully delivered multiple large-scale projects in Ireland, the UK & multiple locations in Europe. We pride ourselves on being a full building services solutions provider.

We are looking for an experienced Pipefitter based in Leitrim. This role is a day shift, 7am to 4pm and is a full-time permanent role.  This is a fast-paced environment working as part of a team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive instructions, configure pipe system blueprints, and plan piping systems layouts.
  • Liaise with the site management regarding supplies, ordering and delivery.
  • Ensure all steam, water, chemicals, or other liquids are turned off before working on a piping system.
  • Start up and shut down equipment in line with company safety procedures.
  • Precisely cut, bend, thread, or crimping of metals such as carbon steel and stainless steel.
  • Day to day liaison with the site supervision staff.
  • Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures as required.
  • Install piping or tubing securely by an agreed/approved method.
  • Consult with the site management for hole positions in walls and bulkheads.
  • Secure pipes to the building structure in an approved manner.
  • Testing and commissioning of pipe systems.
